LITTLE MAIDENS SEEK COTTON CROWN

Frederick’s 8th Annual Cotton Festival is full of fun activities; including a live band, Cow Patty Bingo, the Chili Cook-Off and of course, the Little Miss Cotton Boll and Maid of Cotton Pageants!  This year the cotton pageants will be held at 1pm during the Cotton Festival on November 7th at the Tillman County Courthouse.

The Little Miss Cotton Boll Pageant has eleven beautiful young ladies participating this year.  These girls are in the 1-3rd grade.  This year’s participants are: Karagyn Snodgrass, Sarah Bennet, Laura Lea Bennett, Chloe McBride, Heather Schulz, Quinlan Johnson, Landri Jones, Jacilyn Flores, Taytum Cole, Timber Mefford, and Alina Burleson.

Competing for the Maid of Cotton crown this year are six wonderful girls who are enrolled in 4-6th grade.  This year’s Maid of Cotton contestants include: Michelle Gonzalez, Tenley Mefford, Kaelynn Torres, Caroline Kail, Kalynn Stultz and Sadie Jensen.

Julie Garza and April Collom are this year’s pageant coordinators.  They have been coordinating the pageant for the past two years and have done a wonderful job.
